Is Science the new Religion?

This is a term I never heard before 2020 when the planet experienced a traumatic event. It was a catch phrase that separated people and beliefs. It was repeated over and over again until it became a dogmatic belief. This is a term I never heard before 2020, when the planet experienced a traumatic event. We, as people have long lost the trust of religions and as lost souls looking for a new belief system have adopted technology and science as our new religion. As the religion of yester years that accumulate the wealth as does the technology companies today accumulate the wealth of the planet. At one time people would carry a bible or another religious text around to make reference in life and today we carry around a little computer screen in our pockets, ready to search the answers to life as provided to us by technology and technology companies.

I recently had a few years experience of being in an environment where “I Trust the Science” was an everyday meme, my associates would, if in question always whip out a smart phone look something up and prove that the science backs up their claim. Without even questioning the source of the science the motives behind the science and in today’s world the suppression of certain science claims versus other claims. Without critical thinking, they blindly followed what they were reading not unlike a devotee to a religion blindly following along and believing in someone elses truth. As with all things people read in religion or science there is a money motivation behind the information you consume, as in “Follow the Money” to figure out why you are getting the information you are getting.

Since the smart phones have become so common for instant access to information, we no longer can exercise critical thinking, if we do exercise critical thinking others are quick to condemn another view point as misinformation or disinformation. One has to except one narrative only as the only gospel of technology, do you see the similarities between scientific zealousness and religious zealousness?

Now, I neither trust religion or technology as our evolution as a human species, yes a smart phone can bring instant information to our finger tips, even if this information is skewered to the algorithms of technology companies to create and control thought, just like religions would have done in the past. The true path to evolution for humans is a higher conscious mind that can only be attained through the quietude of non doing, meditation. Today’s gadgets are meant to keep us away from our divinity through a constant hit of dopamine addiction, this hit of dopamine is the result of constant checking and re checking our smart phone.

As with anyone who says they trust the bible as the way or says they trust the science I instantly know that creative, critical thinking has been replaces with a form of modern day mind control. Science is no longer impartial, it is always funded by someone with a certain outcome or agenda, as with the religions of the world.
